“Your best teacher is your last mistake”

“Your best teacher is your last mistake”
Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day. The same thing happened this week. Almost in all days I was not perfectly good enough to get into my class with full fledged tone but some have I managed this week. Last week I completed my first lesson “A day in country” by Anton Chekhov in this schedule, and gave them notes regarding that and started my second lesson “The Nightingale and the Rose” by the famous Irish literary person Oscar Wilde, who stood for aestheticism, which is one among the most liked one by almost all people.
Monday was  a holiday, as the ruling party of Kerala had organized a strike against the economic problem prevailing in our nation today, and almost all of us enjoyed the holiday as we all are already coped up with ridiculing ourselves by engaging in unwanted hartals and strikes which will never ever change the scenario. So the focus should be given to the next day. Tuesday was a good start in this week, as I was able to complete my first lesson successfully. The kick off gave me a positive energy, as my students replied me well while I asked them some questions regarding the lesson. But the major problem was that they knew `the answer quite well, but were afraid to utter it nicely to the whole class. Anyway I am motivating them to speak well in English and trying my level best to encourage them. I conducted a dictation on the new words from “ A day in the country” and played the vocabulary game “ Hangman” during the substitution period and it was quite worthy to access their knowledge in new vocabularies. The summary and notes of this lesson where given during Wednesday. I was totally baffled whether I should write it on the black board or to utter it loudly, as I am confident that my students are able to write it down while I am telling the answers but the concerned teacher told me to write it on the blackboard, which resulted in wastage of time to me and many student. And I told them to submit the notebooks on Friday morning. Thursday morning I was having an extra class and almost all students came on time which gave me happiness and confidence in pursuing my teaching schedule in 8C. later on by 10 am, Anna teacher came for watching my class and I started my new lesson over there which is named as “The Nightingale and the Rose” by Oscar Wilde. I was satisfied with my effort as my students had done a good job in group activity section and review activity, which was the highlight during the day. Teacher to commented the same and asked me to improve my skill in entry activity, which I will surely do in future I felt a sort of tension flying away from my soul after completing the first inspection by our concerned teacher. But the last of this week was not at all a good one, as the environment was not at all satisfying  to pursue teaching learning process. There was a corpse of stray dog lying in my neighboring class 7D, creating a foul smell over there which was a real headache till it was removed. Anyhow I wasted about half an hour, as many of my students felt vomiting smelling it. In the last 10 minutes I recalled the things taught  yesterday and left the class.
This week was not good enough as the last one but awaiting for the best one a head.
